Short Description
ROLE MAIN PURPOSE
Will be responsible to identify, assess, and manage risks in Kidana. And for developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate potential threats and ensure business continuity and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in risk assessment methodologies and industry-specific regulations.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and evaluate potential risks that could impact Kidana’s objectives, operations, and reputation.
- Conduct risk assessments and analysis to determine the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather risk-related information and insights.
- Monitor external factors, such as industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, strategies, and policies.
- Establish risk tolerance levels and ensure alignment with Kidana’s risk appetite.
- Develop methodologies and tools for risk identification, assessment, and reporting.
- Communicate risk management policies and procedures to employees and stakeholders.
- Develop risk mitigation plans and control measures to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks
- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support in the design and implementation of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of risk controls and recommend improvements as needed.
- Establish mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and reporting of risks and their mitigation efforts.
- Develop and maintain risk registers or databases to track identified risks, controls, and mitigation activities.
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and board members.
- Monitor key risk indicators and trigger events to ensure timely identification and response to emerging risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to integrate risk management and compliance efforts.
- Support regulatory audits and inspections related to risk management.
Short Description
Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration and Finance or related field.
Professional and Technical Certificates: Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
Professional Experience
Minimum 4+ years’ experience as Risk specialist or related field.
