JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE MAIN PURPOSE:

To support asset optimization and lifecycle management by analyzing performance metrics, conducting physical audits, and developing recommendations to enhance asset efficiency and returns. The role contributes to strategic decisions by maintaining accurate records and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and operational frameworks.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Asset Monitoring & Documentation

  • Maintain and update asset records, including acquisition data, location, condition, and responsible departments.
  • Monitor asset usage and performance to detect underutilization or inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with finance to maintain up-to-date depreciation schedules and tax documentation.
  • Ensure all asset records are aligned with accounting and audit standards.

B. Asset Verification & Audits

  • Conduct scheduled and surprise physical inventory counts.
  • Reconcile inventory data with financial and operational systems
  • Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

C. Operational Optimization & Analysis

  • Analyze asset performance to identify cost-saving or revenue-enhancing opportunities.
  • Support development of KPIs and dashboards to track asset utilization.
  • Propose disposal plans for obsolete, damaged, or underperforming assets.

D. Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, permits, and internal policies related to asset handling.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, maintenance, and operations departments to align asset management practices.
  • Assist the Asset Manager in strategic planning and implementation of asset control initiatives.

E. Support & Reporting

    • Prepare reports related to asset inventory, value trends, and risk assessments.
    • Support internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
    • Contribute to special projects and taskforces as directed by the department management.

 

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate,Finance or related field.

Professional and Technical Certificates (preffered): CCIM Candidate, LEED GA

Professional Experience : A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Real Estate,Finance or related fields is preferred.
