ROLE MAIN PURPOSE:

Will be responsible to provide specialized expertise and managing specific areas of treasury function, such as cash management, risk management, or investment management, and ensuring that the organization's financial goals are met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage Kidana's comprehensive treasury policies and procedures, focusing on the optimal use of cash and borrowing to maximize interest and currency flow.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity control, and identify opportunities to improve short-term investments.
  • Review and evaluate new project financing options to recommend appropriate funding techniques.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to Kidana's capital structure, including debt-to-equity ratios, to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, including banks and investors, to ensure a smooth flow of fund requirements.
  • Manage financial risk analysis related to Kidana's investments, including interest rate and foreign exchange risk, and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Supervise day-to-day operational tasks for investment activities, including trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the investment management team to determine transaction structure outcomes by providing input on finance and capital structure.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, including banks and investors, to ensure a smooth flow of fund requirements.
  • Present treasury financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and financial analyses, to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to treasury management, such as banking regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

 

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Oversee workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies, reports, figures, and budgets of the treasury department to ensure adequate staffing levels aimed at contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of Kidana.
  • Set performance management objectives based on treasury department KPIs and performance targets for all reporting team members and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
  • Direct the identification of talent for pivotal roles in coordination with the Human Capital Department from a succession management standpoint.
  • Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts among team members.

 

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

 

Professional and Technical Certificates (Preferred): Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

 

Professional Experience: Minimum 10+ years’ experience in finance and treasury.
