ROLE MAIN PURPOSE:

Will be responsible to oversee the daily operations of Kidana’s IT infrastructure and to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to users. And for maintaining the availability and performance of Kidana’s IT systems and to ensuring that users have access to the technology they need to perform their jobs.

 

Key Activities:

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development of IT strategies and roadmaps.
  • Provide input on the operational and service delivery aspects of those strategies.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Kidana’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.
  • Ensure that IT systems are available, reliable, and performant.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that IT systems are maintained and optimized.
  • Manage the delivery of IT services to users, including help desk support, software installations, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure that users have access to the technology they need to perform their jobs.
  • Develop and implement service level agreements to ensure that IT services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that IT systems and data are protected against security threats, including viruses, malware, and cyber-attacks.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect IT systems and data.
  • Monitor and analyse IT service levels, system availability, incident response, and other performance indicators.

 

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies, reports, figures, and budgets of computing services department to ensure adequate staffing levels aimed at contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of Kidana. 
  • Set performance management objectives based on computing services KPI’s and performance targets for all reporting team members and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
  • Direct the identification of talent for pivotal roles in coordination with the Human Capital Department from a succession management standpoint. 
  • Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts among team members.

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

 

Professional and Technical Certificates (Preferred): ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CompTIA A+, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMP are preferrable.

 

Professional Experience: 8+ years overall in IT infrastructure with 3+ years in management or supervision roles.
