Role Main Purpose:

To identify and evaluate new business opportunities while supporting deal execution and portfolio growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Deal Sourcing & Evaluation

  • Proactively identify and assess new investment opportunities (acquisitions, joint ventures, developments) aligned with the company’s strategy.
  • Conduct preliminary due diligence, including market scans, financial viability, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior leadership review.

Financial Modeling & Analysis

  • Develop and maintain financial models (DCF, IRR, sensitivity analysis) to evaluate project returns.
  • Benchmark competitive deals and market pricing to validate assumptions.
  • Support the Director in structuring transactions (debt/equity, partnership terms).

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with brokers, landowners, and municipal authorities to source off-market deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Feasibility) to advance transactions.
  • Assist in drafting term sheets, LOIs, and partnership agreements.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting investments.
  • Maintain a pipeline tracker of active opportunities and status updates.
  • Provide insights to refine the company’s investment strategy.

 

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster relationships with brokers and partners to source quality deal flow
  • Guide junior team members in crafting compelling investment narratives
  • Balance risk/reward analysis when evaluating marginal opportunities
  • Bridge communication between analytical teams and senior decision-makers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of capital markets and investor preferences
  • Supervise the Assistant Manager, delegating research and analytical tasks.
  • Train junior staff on financial modeling, due diligence, and market analysis

 

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance,Business or related field.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of experience in Finance,Business or related fields is preferred. 2+ years in management roles is preferred.
